We are all creators.
To be human is to create.
Â
The question is, what are we creating?
Look around you. Every product, every service, every piece of art, every musical instrument and the music we compose, every institution, norm, law, every act of cruelty and every act of kindness ever extended - all of it was made by people.
We did not inherit a fixed world. We inherited a made world. And we keep making it, every day, in every choice, every silence, every assumption we don't question.
The world is not happening to us. The world is us.
“Should you really open your eyes and see, you would behold your image in all images. And should you open your ears and listen, you would hear your own voice in all voices.” Khalil Gibran
Our world is a collection of the conscious and unconscious individual and collective creations of (hu)mankind, compounded over time, with additional weight given to those with power.
The code is broken.
There is much beauty, yes. But there is much that is corrupt, outdated, not in our individual or collective interests, just plain wrong, and plain stupid. The code is broken and in some cases, we need to break the code.
Ready to recode (y)our world?
You might not think of yourself as creative. Perhaps you’re not. Not because you can’t be. Because you’re not using it.
I'm MC, and I’m on a mission to unleash your creativity to create the life and the outcomes you want, personally and professionally, and to facilitate collective creativity and action to address some of our biggest challenges that together, we can de- and re-code.
